The CPC8629 combines the Intel 840 chipset w/ 133MHz FSB and 64-bit/66MHz PCI- to-PCI bridge, one or two Intel Pentium III processors to 1GHz and 800MHz Rambus DIMMs to yield an extremely high performance system controller board. Onboard I/O includes dual 10/100BaseTX Ethernet, Ultra2 SCSI, ATA/66 EIDE and CompactFlash, floppy disk, AGP video w/ simultaneous CRT/Flat Panel support and KB/Mouse/USB/ serial/parallel interfaces. It is an exceptionally high-throughput host controller for a wide variety of demanding mission-critical applications.
